Autumn Woods Collective blends innovation with thoughtful design through their use of sustainable materials, plastic-free packaging, and charitable donations.
The primary materials used to make Autumn Woods' products are sustainably sourced wood and stainless steel. The wood is sourced within the USA, with much of the smaller items containing wood handpicked from a lumber mill in Pennsylvania. Sourcing nearby supports other local businesses and reduced their overall carbon footprint.
The wood is water-sealed to increase the longevity so one can enjoy their handcrafted accessories for years to come - and they still give off a subtly fresh wood smell! Stainless steel is a durable, rust-free metal and one of the most hygienic materials that does not support the growth of bacteria or mold (ideal for drinkware!). Stainless steel is perfect for keeping beverages hot or cold for long periods of time and won't hold onto flavors. The best thing? Stainless steel can be recycled!
Autumn Woods' dedication to sustainability goes beyond their material sourcing and packaging. Their partnership with Trees for the Future further reinforces their commitment to protecting the Earth. This non-profit's mission is to plant trees and change lives all around the world. Trees for the Future provides families with seeds, tools, training, and resources to create sustainable food sources, livestock feed, products to sell, fuelwood, and up to a 500% increase in their annual income. To date, Autumn Woods has contributed 114,000 trees to the total 200 million planted in dozens of countries and revitalized hundreds of thousands of acres of soil.
