Chocolate and Steel is proof that you can make a living by following your passion! Christine Street grew up near Los Angeles and was influenced by a childhood of playing outdoors. While she worked in the fashion business for a few years, she knew that she wanted something different - to own a business that's centered around her values. After having her first child, Street decided that it was time to live out her dreams. She officially launched her jewelry line in 2003, and the rest is history!

They're shipped to you with recycled and reused packaging to minimize waste. The studio is even powered by wind and solar energy, showing that this brand has considered its environmental impact across its whole business model.
Beyond their sustainable practices, Chocolate and Steel uses their business to help people through their Give Back Program. Each year, Chocolate and Steel supports different charities that are making a difference in the fight for equality. This year, they are backing these five amazing organizations: Summaeverythang, NAACP Legal Defense Fund, Equal Justice Initiative, The Trevor Project, and the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
