To Lässig, sustainability is an attitude. Ethical and earth-friendly production lie at the center of their business model. By using a special dyeing process on some of their products called spin dye, where the material is colored before yarn is spun, their colors remain bright while reducing water and energy usage. Through Repreve® and CYCLEPET® recycled materials in some of their product lines, they are finding innovative ways to divert landfill waste while utilizing materials to make durable products. Lässig has won numerous awards for their products, such as the 2017 Plus X Award for high quality, design, ease of use, functionality and ecology; the 2017 Mom's Choice Award, and multiple eco-excellence awards, just to name a few. Sustainability doesn't stop with their products, however. Lässig actively advocates for numerous causes related to environmental and animal protection, such as the Bärenherz children's hospice in Wiesbaden, the SharkProject, Me-You-Us-Without violence, and the Momella Foundation.
