Sisters Ofelia and Kathya have always been close, even sharing a bedroom until they graduated from college! Sustainability isn't just a trend at Leena & Lu, it's a lifestyle built on the founders' core values of personal and environmental health and wellbeing. With origins in Peru, it was never a question that Ofelia and Kathya would use super-soft Peruvian cotton in their clothing. Each sweet set is made with the world-renowned, highest quality Peruvian Pima cotton, all of which is also 100% GOTS certified organic. This pesticide-free cotton outperforms all others due to its soft, yet durable features. Plus, the quality lasts, is highly resistant to pilling, and gets softer with each wash. Leena & Lu's entire production process is focused on creating sleepwear that is delightful for the consumer and safe for farmers, manufacturers, and the planet.
Each consciously designed piece is made by hand in Peru with locally sourced materials, supporting small manufacturers and growers in the region. The intricate detail and craftsmanship are on display in each product. In fact, the joggers feature hand-dyed cuffs making each pair of pants special and unique! Additionally, all of the dyes are low-impact and made with all-natural, plant-based ingredients.
