Threads 4 Thought

Threads 4 Thoughts is an OG when it comes to sustainable and ethical apparel. Founded in 2006 by husband and wife duo Leigh and Eric Fleet, the pair were brought together by their love for sustainability and a joint vision to change the world. During their senior year of college, the team launched T4T with a collection of graphic tees made from eco-friendly materials, like organic cotton and recycled polyester, that featured bold graphics and sayings like ‘May Peace Prevail on Earth'. After a rockin launch with support from celebs like Jamie Foxx and Gavin Rossdale, the brand took off and so did their impact! Today, T4T offers a full line of lifestyle apparel including dresses, shorts, hats, and athletic wear, all made from materials that are leaving a positive impact on the planet and people involved.

Responsibly Made with Sustainable Fabrics

From start to finish, T4T's supply chain is a step above the rest when it comes to ethical and socially sustainable production. Each one of their products is carefully designed and manufactured to leave a smaller impact on the planet compared to traditional clothing, support their producer communities, and set new standards for what ethical production means for the fashion industry. Starting with the materials, T4T only uses organic cotton, recycled polyester, and Lenzing Modal. We love the fact that all of these inputs are either natural or recycled, meaning they have less of a carbon footprint and are diverting material from landfills to extend the life of the fiber. Next up, the factories. Each production facility that T4T partners with is independently certified to ensure worker safety and conditions ranks above average and local fair trade wages are contracted to each employee. Not only are the people taken care of in T4T production, so is the planet. They manufacture in Haiti and Kenya, where the entire factory is carbon neutral, and their factory in Weihai, China has one of the highest ranking water filtration systems in China, meaning that dyes used in production do not end up polluting waterways and 82% of the water is recycled back into the cities flow.    Threads 4 Thought also values philanthropy. One of their longest partnerships is with the International Rescue Committee (IRC). The IRC helps those whose lives are shattered by conflict or crisis, who need assistance surviving, recovering and regaining control of their life after the tragic events. The IRC has been around for 85 years! Continuously changing the course of people's lives during a humanitarian crisis. Threads 4 Thought has been helping organizations and nonprofits such as IRC for the entirety of their business, showing their mutual care for the environment and the safety and support of humankind.
